Meridian Enterprises Private Limited was founded in 1992 by late Ramesh Banatwala a dynamic person who was a leading figure in the Indian pharmaceutical industry. He completed his B.Sc. (Tech) from UDCT, M.Pharm from USA and PMD from Harvard University. He had a long and illustrious career in India, and internationally, with leading firms like Pfizer, Boots, and Warner Lambert. It was his lifelong dream to start his own company and he took early retirement as CMD of Parke Davis (India) to start Meridian. He established the working systems as well as instilled a deep sense of commitment and integrity among all the people at Meridian. In 1994 Mr. Banatwala passed away and his son, Sandeep R. Banatwala MBA (Columbia Univ. – USA), took over the management of Meridian. Today, Sandeep Banatwala together with the entire team at Meridian continue to follow the high standards and pursue the goals left behind by late Ramesh Banatwala.
